A brand-new record label in the heart of Nashville, East Music Row Records came to me with a vision: to merge the slick professionalism of Music Row with the gritty soul of alt-rock and indie country. They needed a brand that felt established—even if they were just getting started—and versatile enough to live on everything from websites to worn-in tees.
THE APPROACH:
This was about building instant legacy—something that felt both classic and counter-culture.
- A Black & White Identity With Range 
 To avoid boxing themselves into one genre aesthetic, we kept it stripped back. A clean black-and-white palette gave the brand flexibility across styles, artists, and formats—from grunge to twang.
- Art Nouveau Meets Rock & Roll 
 The logotype is where the attitude lives. Inspired by Art Nouveau, the font choice balances elegance with edge. It’s timeless without being tame—exactly what this label is about.
- Built for Merch, Not Just Mood 
 Every piece of the brand system was crafted with merch in mind. From logo marks to business cards to apparel—this identity works as well on a band tee as it does on a Spotify banner.
